A friend of mine was there but thank goodness, he is only in the hospital for smoke inhalation.
I think the part that terrifies me the most is that I could have been there. I've been to Santika a few times since I've been in Bangkok and friends of mine were planning on going. Thankfully, my plans were changed.
My prayers to the families of those killed and injured. May their souls rest in peace.
