Same kind of thing happened to me yesterday.
My boss: "What's wrong, Caroline?"
Me: "Nothing, why?"
My boss: "Oh, you just looked like you might be sick... or tired."
Me: "No, I'm fine. I just didn't wear any eye makeup today."
My boss: "I see. Well, maybe that's it then."
And you DO NOT need to go on a diet! You look great!! You're not Thai, so why should they expect you to look like them? And why would you want to? You are a beautiful, curvecious (is that even a word?), African American woman!
Curvaceous. I can't spell.
People do that to me at times too.
Don't worry about them honey.
